QUERCETUM: AN OAK ARBORETUM SERVING RESEARCH

Through the Quercetum Project, whose Phase 1 began in Murlin in December 2025, the Charlois Fund for Art and the Forest reaffirms its active role in forest preservation and restoration.

Quercetum is an oak arboretum dedicated to research. This project, expected to span several decades and multiple sites around the world, aims to study the evolution of the species while creating ecosystems that support biodiversity.

ABOUT

Created in 2018 at the instigation of Sylvain Charlois, The Charlois Fund for Art and the Forest has set two main objectives: provide support for contemporary creation and participate in the renewal of forests through a tree planting program.

Develop, promote and showcase the art, culture and heritage associated with the forest, its professions, traditions and values.
