The Charlois Fund for Art and the Forest invites you to come and take a guided tour (Charlois stave mill, stave-wood maturing yard, La Grange Cooperage) followed by a tasting workshop of wines aged in oak barrels. BOOKING REQUIRED

Times: 2.30 pm to 5 pm. Price: €30 per person, subject to availability. Duration: approx. 2 hours 30 mins.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about the age-old skills and know-how of the coopers at the La Grange Cooperage, whose barrels are shaped from the finest oak staves and hooped by hand. And you can prolong the experience with a tasting of some wines aged in oak barrels to (re)discover their subtleties and appreciate the influence of the oak on the end wine!
